We’ve all been affected by the amount of rain we’ve had this year, including our driveways, patios, roofs and gutters. Because of all the rain and cold weather many of our outdoor surfaces have gone green! Thankfully at Projet we can get these surfaces looking new again for you and even help protect your outdoor surfaces with our treatments and sealing options.
The majority of our customers are fed up of picking weeds out of their block paving, not only is it a very time consuming job to do, the weeds just come back within weeks. With our sealing option on block paving, we can really help prevent the weeds coming back so frequently.
We do this over 3 visits, the first visit would be a weed spray to kill off the weeds down to the route. On our second visit we would clean the area with our industrial pressure washer and if needed, treating the block paving to bring it back to its former glory. Then on our third visit we would sand the block paving and seal over the blocks & sand. The sand will then set firm to help prevent weed growth and protect your block paving. On top of this there is a maintenance package we can put together to help keep your sealed area in top condition, but also if you’re not interested in the maintenance package, we offer advice on what can be done to help keep the surface clean.
Roof cleaning has been a big part of our business over the years, it’s a job that people want doing but are not sure who offers this service. Roof cleaning can be done for different reasons, it can be for an aesthetic look or it can be to remove the moss from the roof which is repeatedly dropping on your drive/patio/paths and filling up your gutters. Once we’ve removed the moss from the roof we add a treatment which kills any remaining spores of moss left over that are in between the tiles. The treatment continues to work for 18 months, cleaning back your roof to its natural colour and continues to kill and moss/algae. A top up treatment every 2-3 years will keep your roof looking clean and moss free.
In May we had another fantastic month. We have been flat out 7 days a week to try keep up with the high demand but it was still getting too much. So we’ve decided to get another van with a full set up on the road to cut down waiting times for our new and repeat customers. We also found before we decided to get another van that a lot of our customers were willing to wait for us to complete the work for them as they trust in us which is very flattering.
Each year we have customers that are part of the open garden show. These customers are extremely proud of their gardens and we are impressed when we see their great work. They get Projet round to give the hard surfaces a clean before the show to put the cherry on the cake and finish off their garden.
